Palm oil contains 40% -50% of saturated fatty acids, palmitic acid takes 80%, 38% -53% of oleic acid, 6% -11% of linoleic acid, in semi-solid at room temperature, with excellent oxidation stability. Palm oil has rich nutrients and antioxidant activity, which has a wide range of applications in food industry and chemical industry.
Currently, many countries in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa are planting palm trees. Palm fruits, after boiling, crushing, palm oil mill plant to obtain CPO (crude palm oil). Crude palm oil uses palm oil refinery to remove free fatty acid, natural pigments, odor, getting refined palm oil (RBD PO) and palm salad oil (RBD PKO). Palm kernel oil is extracted from palm kernel. Palm kernel oil is completely different from palm oil, but similar with coconut oil, containing much lower fatty acids.

Applications of palm oil:

Palm oil in the world, is widely used in cooking and food manufacturing. It is used as cooking oil, crispy fat and margarine to use. The same as other edible oil, palm oil can be easily digested, absorbed, and promote human body health.

Featured advantages of palm oil:

◆ Large amount of saturated fatty acid, good oil stability, and less prone to oxidative deterioration.
◆Palm oil contains rich vitamin A (500-700PPM) and vitamin E (500-800ppm).
◆The fractionated palm oil, solid fat and liquid oil separated from the solid resin, which can be used to replace the expensive cocoa butter to make chocolate. Liquid used as a salad oil, cooking or frying oil, its light and refreshing taste.
◆A large number of non fractionated palm oil used in manufacturing industries. Production of palm oil soaps can play durable foam and strong decontamination ability. Palm oil can be used for rolling tinplate tin and aluminum foil. Therefore, palm oil is widely used in the world, catering, food manufacturing and oleo chemicals.
